Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 31, 2026
Who we are
This website is operated by Catnip Productions LLC, an independent documentary production company with offices in St. Louis and Denver CO. It exists to share information about the documentary AI Decoded: Creativity or Chaos?
What we collect
If you send us a message through the contact form we collect the name, email address and message text you choose to give us. That is all. We do not ask for a postal address, a phone number or payment details, and we do not collect them.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs that may include your IP address, browser type and the pages you visited. These are used to keep the site running and secure, and for nothing else.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it or share it with advertisers. We do not run advertising on this site.
We do not build a marketing profile of you, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you used the contact form.
Who processes your data
Two services are involved when you use this site. Our web host serves the pages and keeps the server logs described above. Our form provider receives contact form submissions and passes them to us by email.
Each of these companies handles data under its own privacy policy. We choose providers that commit to keeping data secure and to using it only to deliver the service we have asked for.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts of its own. The trailer is hosted on Vimeo and embedded with Vimeo's do not track setting switched on. Vimeo may still set cookies when you press play; that is governed by Vimeo's own privacy policy.
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives a request from your browser in order to serve them.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept in our email for as long as the enquiry is active and then archived. Server logs are rotated by our host on its own schedule, typically within a few weeks.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us using the contact form at aidecoded.com/contact and we will act on it.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area you have additional rights under the UK GDPR and the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are a California resident you have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and the right to delete. We apply the same practices to everyone regardless of location.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Featured Voices pages link to the personal websites, university pages and professional profiles of the people we interviewed. Those sites are not ours and are not covered by this policy.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried.
